a ribbon...

Just received these lovelies in the mail...lets see..there are two red, one purple and one yellow ribbon.. all dating from the 50's!

I just love collecting vintage awards! Ribbons..medals..trophies.. I can just imagine the pride the winner had when they received them. I actually had some horse ribbons myself..a blue one too... unfortunately they were discarded..ho hum..

I think it would be neat to plaster a whole wall with ribbons..How would you use them? How do you use them?

There is something nostalgic about them.. I just love the simple design of the ribbons..

Those are great! I have never run across one in my antiquing....and I live in Ky.! Maybe they are stashed in family chests and treasured there. I'd wear it on my denim jacket if I had one ;)
